See nädalalõpp läks kuidagi väga kiireks.

Loodetavasti leidub laadal inimesi, kellele need meeldivad.

Buzy weekend: This weekend turned out to be a buzy one. There was much to be done but my body thought otherwise - a few days ago I started to notice that my throut was sore and on Sunday morning I woke up voiceless. Well, that gets me even more done, was my first thought. And I had many things to be done. I had organized a workshop at the Maarja-Magdaleena Gild about how to felt slippers. Our teacher was Stella. Additionally I had promised a week ago that I make some brooches for the charity fair in one kindergarten here in Pärnu. So, on Saturday evening I was finishing my brooches. On Sunday morning I planned to take pictures of all that I´ve done recently and also continue knitting my socks.
But let’s start at the beginning. A bunch of people came together on Saturday morning to learn how to felt slippers. It took us about three hours to get the felting phase done. I planned to take pictures of all the work-phases, but surprise-surprise, forgot my camera at home. But I intend to repeat the whole process soon and photograph it, so I won’t forget it.
And there I was, equipped with 150g of woolen fibres (is there a better expression?), felting needle, a big bowl and great will, ready to start. After felting I streched them atop of my shoes for drying. Before that do not forget to put your shoes into a plastic bag to protect them from moisture coming from wet felt. On the picture the plastic bag is already removed. Now I have to trim the adges, needle the footing and make the embroiding. I really enjoyed this workshop.
I spent the evening finishing the brooches. I´d promised to make ten of them, but managed to finish 11. I kept one for myself, since it matched perfectly with my sweater. I attached safety pin with some stiches so anyone can remove it to stich the brooch permanently to her hat, bag etc. I hope someone will like them enough to by one.
After making slippers and brooches I took some time off to enjoy knitting woolen socks for myself. I won´t show them just jet, since I didn´t manage to finish them.
